Fitting
There seems to be some confusion here about backwards
fans.
Some people think that if you fit the fan backwards it'll blow from wheel to
engine, instead of vice versa.
This is not correct. The reason you get less flow is because the blades are
shaped like aerofoils (aircraft wings) with a leading (rounded) and trailing
(sharp) edge. Get it backwards and the effect is vastly reduced.
AFAIK this only applies to plastic 16 blade fans. The metal ones are
omnidirectional.
Fan pulley, using smaller sized one
I ran a small fan pulley on the 1310 initially. Observations...
It DID cool better, but over-cooled usually
The fan spun much faster zapping power
I found it MUCH more efficient to fit a cooler stat and use the slow pulley
The pump will cavitate at high revs.
