Swapping Verto slave for non verto slave
There is a common myth that verto and non-verto slaves are not interchangable. It is not true AFAIK. The verto slave has the bleed nipple and hose connection in a different place, that is all. I am running a verto slave on a pre-verto arm/clutch and it is fine. I needed to add a packing nut in front the piston to start with, but that was due to air in the system. Last night I removed the nut and it is fine. The only thing to make sure is you have the correct arm for the clutch type, as the throw required is different (verto needs more, hence shorter arm). You'll need the slave mounting bracket too for verto.
