Tail happy?

A few possibilities:

• If it is tail happy it could be toed out at the back. Check with the bit of string method:
  • Tie to back bumper
  • Run the string to the front just below sill level...
  • ... and round to the back again
  If toed out string will touch the front edge of the tyre and not the back. Toe in will be the reverse. (28/05/03)
• Cracked, or insecure subframe
• Loose radius arm nut(s)... most likely the inner one
• Bent radius arm.... sideswiped any kerbs lately?
• The clearance isn't that great at the best of times, so if everything checks out as OK *thin* spacers might be the solution.
