Yes indeed! Dennis the Mini is back in the fifth part of the LEJOG franchise in this, his most epic road trip ever!
Two inept escapees, John O'Groats (Simon Dummett) and Lands End (David Gamble) are on the run from the local Chief Constable (Alan Rickman*) in a slightly less than conspicuous car (Dennis the Mini).
They decide, before their inevitable recapture can be engineered, that they should try to visit the two places they're not in any way at all named after, and then escape to sample ice cream at the seaside home of the Jolly Fisherman (Benny Hill**).
So they head down to Devon and tag along with a bunch of Mini owners doing almost the same trip, and are persuaded to raise money for charity along the way. Their consciences win out and soon they're on their way, knowing that someone else will eventually benefit from their folly...
Or that's the idea anyway. We're not making a film - not even a short one - but we are taking Dennis on a 2100 mile round trip, and we are asking for donations for what will see Dennis having completed over 10,000 miles for charity.
